Iron Galaxy Studios & Rumbleverse

As the Social Media Manager at Iron Galaxy Studios, I managed and created original content for our social accounts, from videos of our employees sharing their favorite recipes to GIFs of our companies' cutest pets. I produced and managed our social and blog content as well as conducted analytical reports using Sprout Social to improve our social campaign strategies.

I also helped design internal marketing pieces for the studio as we prepared for the launch of the companies' IP, a battle-royal brawler called Rumbleverse. I mastered capturing and displaying in-game content for company materials as we pitched our game to external partners for promotional support and created instructional videos explaining the game's UI/UX for company presentations.

Rumbleverse barge posters

I designed posters that were displayed in the Rumbleverse barge before the players start brawling. I collaborated with game developers to deliver the messaging they wanted on these instructional displays, which players saw as soon as they launched their game. The devs created a "green screen world" environment for me to capture the game's VFX & moves in, which I then recorded through OBS, captured stills from in Premiere, and masked in Photoshop. I designed the tutorial posters with the look of old lucha libre posters in mind while delivering useful information for players' to observe at the beginning of their first time user experience.

Recruitment ads

Before hire, I was given the task of designing potential recruitment ads to use on the IGS social channels.

These are some of the options I created for the design test I was given as part of my application process, using assets provided to me by the company of games that they have worked on in the past.

Updated brand identity

Upon hire, I audited all of Iron Galaxy's social media accounts and worked with the companies' lead art director, co-CEOs and founder to create a new, unified look for the company. I then created new social icons, banners, recruitment ads and marketing materials using that redefined identity to solidify Iron Galaxy's current brand look.

I created a variety of options for the IG team to choose from – black & orange options, because one CEO likes Halloween, clean options with simple geometrical backgrounds, for those who wanted to keep the look and feel business-oriented, but I am glad that we settled with the current look, using a simple galaxy background and an array of blue with orange highlights to represent the company throughout their corporate design.

During my time at IG, I met many amazing creatives and got to dip my toes in being a part of game dev – I worked in Perforce and Unreal to help with character exports and in-game art, and worked with incredibly talented developers as we created a magical world that was more exciting every week.
